What aftercare will keep your crockery beautiful?

How lovely that you chose UNRO's Portuguese tableware!

We recommend you read this (after)care and use page carefully before (first) use and follow the instructions. This will ensure that your crockery will stand the test of time! 😉

The tableware we offer from Terrafina & Cª Atlantica is made from the ceramic type stoneware. The stoneware is made from the finest available natural and local resources that can resist various temperatures between -20°C and 200°C. In addition, all Terrafina & Cª Atlantica products comply with international food safety standards. The products do not contain cadmium or lead.

Aftercare & use of crockery

  • Wash and dry your items before use;
  • When using the dishwasher, always wait until the end of the programme before taking items out;
  • When using the dishwasher, avoid placing items in direct contact with other items (so as to avoid collision and friction);
  • Avoid placing hot items on cold or wet surfaces, use a heat-resistant coaster;
  • Avoid placing chilled or frozen items directly into a preheated oven. Defrosting and heating should be done gradually;
  • When using the item in the oven, place it in the middle on a rack;
  • Avoid placing items directly on hot surfaces such as gas or electric cookers and hobs;
  • It is recommended to wash larger and/or more delicate items by hand;
  • Avoid dragging and sliding items over each other to avoid scratching the surface of the item.
