Need some inspiration to do something fun on this sunny Saturday with Easter just around the corner? In this blog post, Do It Yourself Easter Arrangement Making, we explain how you can easily make a colourful Easter arrangement yourself, so read on!
The serving dishes from Terrafina are perfect for making your Do It Yourself Easter arrangement. We use the Amazonia Blue Serving bowl because we chose a yellow and orange accent, which contrasts nicely with the bright blue of this serving bowl.

What do you need?
- Your favourite Serving bowl
- (flower) scissors
- 1 piece of oasis
- 1 bunch of green leaves of your choice (in our case Eucalyptus)
- 1 bunch of flowers on which to focus (in our case, this has been the yellow French Tulips)
- 1 bunch of accent flowers (in our case the orange-red berries)
- 1 bunch of stuffing material (in our case the small white flowers)
Roadmap- How to make the flower arrangement:
Step 1
Start by cutting the oasis to size and place it in the centre of the Serving Bowl. Water the oasis well and let the moisture soak in for a while. After all, the oasis must ensure that your flower arrangement gets enough moisture. The flowers and (possibly branches) need enough water to stay fresh. This way you can enjoy your flower arrangement for a long time.

Step 2
Next, cut or trim the stems of the bunches of flowers diagonally but make sure the stems are long enough to stick into the oasis. Of course, it is important that the flowers stay in place 😉. Go down each bunch of greenery and flowers, which looks like this:

Step 3:
Now that all bunches of greenery and flowers have been cut or trimmed to size at an angle, you can start laying out the Easter arrangement. Always start with the base: the green leaves. Divide these evenly over the oasis, leaving space for the flowers.

Step 4:
Next, start with the second layer of the Easter arrangement. In our case, these are the small white flowers. You put these in the oasis too, leaving space for the accent flowers and the flowers you want to focus on. Divide evenly for a nice balance.

Step 5:
The flower arrangement is already starting to look like something. Now you can insert the accent flowers in different places. We have called these accent flowers because they give a nice colour accent to the flower arrangement but these are not yet the flowers that are the focus flowers. So leave some space for these.

Step 6:
Finally, put the finishing touches to the Easter arrangement with the focus flowers. Distribute them throughout the Easter arrangement or put them together to make a statement. We chose to put the yellow French Tulips together in the middle because we thought that was most attractive. Your Easter arrangement is now finished and can go and show off on your dining table or literally brighten up another spot in your interior 😊!
